CROSSFIT RICHARDSON PALEO CHALLENGE #CFRPC
What better time than now to get back on the nutrition wagon as Summer turns into Fall and we begin to settle back into a routine with school and work. Other than LBJ Day on the 27th, I think the month of August officially leaves us with zero festive excuses for not participating in this Paleo Challenge. You guys have patiently waited for the “details” of this challenge, so here they are…..
Dates: Friday, August 1 – Sunday, August 31
We will get a starting weight and measurements during classes on Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1. Challenge winners will be based on a percentage of weight lost. Even if weight loss is not a priority for you, I would highly recommend you participate in the Challenge for a variety of reasons (see Whole 30).
We will get our final weights and measurements taken on Saturday, August 30 or Tuesday, September 2 during all class times.
“What foods do I eat?”
Our friends, Dallas and Melissa Hartwig, from the Whole 9 have put together the most thorough guidelines and convincing explanation for the benefits of eating a “Paleo” diet. Below is a link to the Whole 30 that will give you a comprehensive list of foods and recipes that you can use to help get you started.
