CrossFit Kids Richardson
Join us for our CrossFit Kids Richardson program!
CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching CrossFit to children and teens, ages 5-14. This class is a strength and conditioning program that is specially designed for kids and teenagers and their specific developmental needs and helps them to develop a lifelong love of fitness. In a group setting, children and teens participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes. CrossFit Kids workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive, and general, and are scalable for any participant at any level. Kids Ages 5-11 will have class on Thursday from 4:00-4:30pm.
If you have a child 12 years or older that is interested in our program, please contact us for more information by emailing email@example.com.
If you have a preschooler that you would like to enroll in the kids program please email firstname.lastname@example.org as we are still trying to finalize the schedule for this age group. Let us know what times would work best for you.
CrossFit Kids is forging the future of fitness. The CrossFit Kids program uses the template of randomized, functional exercises performed at high intensity. Adjustments are made to accommodate the specific needs and requirements of children and teens.
Workouts consist of exercises containing elements drawn from the above enumerated physical skills, while special attention is paid to utilizing progressions for difficult or compound movements, and progressive loading dictated by size, age and consistency in form.
We have two certified CrossFit Kids coaches at CFR and we are excited to offer this program to our clients!
